Queen Bees, Wannabes and the Nobodies
HTMS is excited to announce our Parent Night on Thursday, March 9th at 6:00. The title of our program is Queen bees, Wannabe's and the Nobody's: Helping your child navigate the world of social status and relational aggression and will be presented by Alice Churnock, LPC. As children grow and change, so do their relationships. Friends deemed sweet and trustworthy, can slip into the 'frenemy' category seemingly overnight. As adults, we recognize the warning signs, but for a child understanding and admitting those changes may result in dreaded social suicide. Learn how to help your child differentiate between types of friends and how to communicate with your child on healthy relationships. Though this presentation is geared towards the adolescent parent, we encourage parents of all ages to attend.
