Spanish Dual Language Informational Night is Wednesday, Feb. 27
Incoming kindergarten parents who are interested in learning more about Spanish Dual Language for the 2019-20 school year (non-Spanish speakers only) should attend an informational session at Jane Addams Elementary School Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
Native Spanish speakers whose home school is Jane Addams or Winston Campus will be automatically enrolled in the program.
More detail about Spanish Dual Language including curriculum, language progression and logistics will be presented on Feb. 27. District administration will discuss the potential for the program to expand to other schools as well.
Parents interested in the program should submit letters of commitment by March 22. These letters are NOT timestamped. If there is more interest than space allows, a lottery will be held. Confirmation of placement will be provided in April.

Earn college tuition money by supporting one-five Foundation raffle
By the year 2030, the cost of a four-year college education is expected to exceed $175,000. Enter the one-five Foundation’s 529 College Fund 50/50 Raffle for your chance to win up to $26,450 to offset those expenses.
The more tickets that are sold, the higher the jackpot will be. Tickets will only be sold through March 16, 2017! Each $100 ticket purchased will earn one entry into the raffle. Buy tickets online by visiting www.ccsd15.net/529fund.
Half of the money raised through the raffle (up to $26,450) will be retained by the one-five Foundation to further its work enhancing the classroom experience for District 15 students. The other half of the money raised (up to $26,450) will be issued to the raffle winner with the intent that the winner create or contribute to a “529 Plan,” an educational savings program with tax benefits meant to help families fund their child’s future college costs.
The raffle drawing will take place live at 5:29 p.m. on March 17, 2019 through the district's Facebook page. Complete raffle rules, terms and conditions are available at www.ccsd15.net/529fund.
