What to do?

If you do not have a fire extinguisher you should. Turn off heat, cover pan or pour baking soda on the flames

Avoid

Avoid using water on a grease fire and never try and carry a pot or pan that has burning contents inside of it to the outside.

First Aid for Burns

Cool the burn with cold water/prolonged ice which will freeze the tissue. Also avoid using ointments, grease and oil.
