Kindergarten Registration for 2022-2023

If you have a child that will be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2022, he or she may attend Kindergarten next fall. Copopa Elementary School is in the process of planning now for the 2022-2023 school year. Please check our kindergarten registration information on our website at www.columbia.k12.oh.us on the Copopa page. WINTER HEAP

HEAP Winter Crisis is happening now! Applications can be submitted through March 2022. Anyone whose heat has been turned off or who has received a utility disconnect notice should call their local (county) Energy Assistance Provider (EAP) to apply. Other help/funds may also be available through the EAP.

WATER ASSISTANCE

Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIH-WAP) will provide help to income eligible Lorain County residents. Please help spread the word! Households must be living at or below 175% of the Federal Poverty Level.

What Do You Do With an Idea

The Specials Team worked on a cross curricular lesson based on the book What Do You Do With an Idea by Kobi Yamada. The story was read to them in Library, they worked on creating their idea into an Artwork in Art class, wrote about it in Technology, and put it to music with Mrs. Krejsa. This unit will culminate this week with a trip to Playhouse Square to see the book brought to life! All of the students did a fantastic job!

Once again Copopa is entering into the Marco's Pizza Night School Challenge!

There are a couple of ways to help us out!

1.Order online ANY day or time during the school year and we can earn Pizza Points.

2.Walk in or Call in orders on the designated Marco's Pizza Nights will also earn us points!

Marco's Pizza offers these School Nights and they give back a percentage of sales generated from those nights that are called in on the phone or placed in the store. They give EVEN MORE for orders placed ONLINE! All orders online will be counted in the year long Online Challenge. BE SURE to hit the fundraiser button before you order!

This works for either the Strongsville or Berea location! Be sure to enter our school name when placing your order! Our designated day is Thursday, March 17, 2022. But remember that we can earn points ANY day of the year if you order online and enter our school name and if you remember, your child's teacher's name!
