Mr. O'Brien, Firefighter, visited fifth grade this week.
Career Share Signup
This year we would like to have EVERY student have at least ONE parent or family member spend time in his/her classroom in a Career Share visit. We started the Guys and Gals approach years ago and feel that it isn't about the gender separation but instead about EVERY student having a parent or family member visit the classroom sometime during the school day.
If you would like to sign up for a November Career Share please see the below links for each grade level. We will continue to publish a Career Share calendar link each month to help meet the goal of EVERY eagle having at least one parent or family member visit for a Career Share during the 2017-2018 school year. Thanks!

Repeat: Park Hill Education Foundation Fundraiser Information
The Park Hill School District Education Foundation discount card sales program benefits schools and patrons alike. The schools, in conjunction with Major Saver, work with businesses throughout the district to offer a $15 discount card providing the customer with 21 local buy-one-get-one-free offers. In most cases, redeeming only two offers offsets the cost of the card. Proceeds from the card campaign go to the Park Hill School District Education Foundation and participating schools.
Discount card sales occur in the Park Hill schools starting Wednesday, November 1st thru Monday, November 13th.
Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at www.majorsaver.com. The online sale can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer.
Major Saver is excited to roll out a new feature this year making online sales easier for friends and family! On our homepage you are able to enter your student’s information to create a CUSTOM LINK for your child that can be shared via social media or email. This link will automatically credit the online sale to your student when friends and family use the link to make their purchase!
Major Saver cards can also be purchased, and credited to a student, through the Major Saver App. Once the free app is downloaded to an Android or iOS device, buyers can choose a Major Saver card through the “buy cards” tab on the app. Once the buyer completes the transaction the offers will be stored in the Major Saver App. Buyers can then redeem offers directly from the app and do not need a physical card.

Park Hill Star Award
Our employees are the reason we are so successful here in the Park Hill School District, and we would like to recognize them for all they do for our students.
That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee.
Anyone can nominate an employee for this award by using the form below. It asks you to share how your nominee demonstrates our district values of continuous improvement, high expectations, integrity, visionary leadership and student focus.
