Building Project Update
On Friday, there will be some individuals here doing water treatment testing. This is all work that, as far as I know, will be outdoors at the back of the building; however, wanted you all to be aware in case you saw people walking about.
We will also be preparing to move the cabinets in the hallway. At this point, we are not moving all of them at one time because we don't have the storage to hold them; however, wanted to start giving you heads up so you can begin the process of going through your cabinet and doing some early spring cleaning. Some of the cabinets will be moved sooner than others.
What's the weather?
"I've come to the frightening conclusion that I'm the decisive element in the classroom. It's my personal approach that creates the climate. It's my daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child's life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or deescalated and a child humanized or dehumanized. " -Bagnall, Personal View
During our meeting we will take a short time to "twitter" about how you change the weather in your classroom when the weather in your room is not Sunny and 75. Please be prepared to share thoughts and ideas.
