Miss Jennifer's Rabbit Theme
Our student teacher, Miss Jennifer has started her take over session. She noticed that the children had an interest in rabbits early in the year. She wanted to further this interest so she choose a rabbit theme for her take over session. The children have a rabbit visitor for the duration of the rabbit theme.
Eating Like Rabbits
The children tasted food that rabbits eat. They made a chart that showed which fruits they like the most.
Feeling Furs
The children got to feel the furs of different animals: fox, skunk, raccoon, opossum and beaver. They also got to pet the rabbit visitor.
Making Rabbits
The children used cotton balls and wood pieces to create their own rabbit or other subject of their choice.
