Batch files 101
By Richard Mcveigh
Welcome!
Batch Files are fun and easy to do! Batch files are basically a script file.
Here is a simple one!:
@ECHO OFF
ECHO HELLO HOW ARE YOU?
ECHO YOU ARE AWESOME
PAUSE
(IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE FILE PLEASE COPY AND PASTE IN A NOTEPAD. CHANGE IT TO ALL FILES. THEN SAVE IT HAVE "whateveryouwant.bat" YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT FROM .TXT TO ALL FILES. IF YOU DONT CHANGE TO ALL FILES IT WIL NOT WORK. THE NAME IS UP TO YOU. BUT MAKE SURE IT WILL SAVE AS ".BAT" THAT IS IMPORTANT.)
Alright Now its your turn! If you are new to batch than you will need to learn some. So your first line should probably be "@echo off", When you type something you need to put "echo in front of it. Example: echo Hello, how are you today? When you put the "@echo off" it makes sure when you say something it wont put echo in front of it.
