Faculty Updates - A message from our Principal, Betty Sierra
Dear Parents,
I wanted to let you know of some changes that have occurred for the remainder of this school year. Mrs. Kay Routh has resigned for personal reasons. We will miss her and are grateful for her dedication and service to CtRCS for the last year-and-a-half and for building our beautiful library. We wish her all the best and will forever appreciate her help in creating our foundation.
We want to welcome Mrs. Jessica Marshall who has volunteered time in the library since the school opened and has also been substituting at CtRCs this year. She will run the library for the remainder of this year. Mrs. Marshall has several years of teaching experience, served as an elementary reading facilitator and holds a masters degree in education. We are confident that she will do an amazing job and will be a wonderful addition.
We also want to welcome Mrs. Gini Howell who has 11 1/2 yrs. as a classroom teacher and 10 yrs. in private tutoring. She is a Reading Specialist with a masters degree in reading and Dyslexia trained in Neuhaus and Texas Scottish Rite. She will be here three days a week teaching 3rd and 4th grade technology and doing reading pull outs.
Mrs. Howell has been substituting at CtRCS since last year. She will also make an excellent addition to our staff.
We will not continue technology classes other than for the 3rd and 4th grade due to scheduling. However, the other classes will continue to work on keyboarding within their home rooms.
Please know that your children will continue to get an excellent education and as always are our top priority.
We thank you for your ongoing support and partnership as we help your children grow in faith, love and intellect.
God bless and have a great weekend!
Kind regards,
Betty Sierra
