Congrats Mrs. Spencer!

ED Teacher extraordinaire, Janelle Spencer, was caught showing Respect by Mr. Doug this week. Mrs. Spencer has one of the toughest jobs at HRE and she does it with patience and grace every day. She is expecting her 3rd child very soon and will be going out on leave at the end of November…Good luck Mrs. Spencer! Thank You for all you do!

Be sure to nominate a colleague this week who you catch "Getting a GRIP"!

NWEA Progress Monitoring Training (Optional)

Do you want to learn how to progress monitor your students using the NWEA test? Krista Clanin will lead an optional progress monitoring Professional Development on Monday, November 4th from 8:00-8:30 in the Computer Lab.

This is highly recommended for students who struggled with taking a test on the computer, using a mouse, dragging the answer and of course any student who needs additional assistance in the skills offered. These skill checks will help them feel more at ease with the process and hopefully build their knowledge. Please reply to the invitation Krista emailed to all staff if you plan to attend.

United Way Campaign is Coming

It's not too late to donate if you haven't already...The donation deadline is November 8th. Please help HRE reach its goal of 100% participation if you can.
