Breakfast with a Buddy
If you missed this event, don't worry, we have another "Breakfast with a Buddy" coming up in late winter/early spring.
Gratitude Gift Deadline Extended to Monday, December 17! A HEF Mug Full of Thanks for Hopkins Teachers and Staff!
Brighten a teacher or staff members day by sending them a special 'thank you': a big beautiful 20 oz ceramic 'Hopkins Blue" mug when you make a donation in their name to benefit HEF's mission. For every tax deductible Gratitude Gift of $25 or more made to Hopkins Education Foundation, this fun and practical mug alongwith your personal message will be hand-delivered to each honored recipient by HEF staff and Board Members.
Skating at Glen Lake
The city of Minnetonka has flooded the ice rinks! Weather permitting, skating should be open during recess starting in January. Due to the ever increasing concern over concussions, we will be requiring students to wear a helmet when ice skating this year. The helmet can be a hockey, bike, or skateboard type helmet. We will not have helmets to loan, however we do have a variety of ice skates that have been donated for our students to borrow.
We would also love to have parent volunteers help with the warming house this year. It would be very helpful to have additional adult help to get skates on/off so our playground staff can focus on student supervision. Please contact the office at 952-988-5200 if you would be interested in helping.
