Message From Mrs. Kilday
Hello Rodman families!
Wow! What a beautiful day today. It sure did feel like Spring! With this warm weather we are having I am hopeful we can get to the playground soon. We sure do miss it!
I have had a few questions asking if we have a graduation ceremony at the preschool. At Rodman we want to mark the closure of the school year and transitions to Kindergarten and a new school in a developmentally appropriate way that all of our students can access. Because of that we don't have a graduation ceremony, but rather an end of the year celebration. Each class plans their own celebration, but all include a fun slideshow of our friends! I know you will love it just as much as we do! I promise it will be lots of fun and everyone can participate. More details will come as we get closer.
Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions about our school or why we do, or don't do, certain things. I am happy to talk with you.
Have a great night everyone.

COVID Update
Thank you for the respect you have shown each other in your decisions on masking. I am very proud to lead a community with such respect for others.
In my COVID update this week I want to share a little story with you.
While visiting classrooms last week a child invited me to draw with her. Of course I did! She began telling me about her picture. She was drawing herself getting her first vaccination at the clinic at the high school. She was so very proud it was her turn to get the vaccine as the rest of her family already had it. I am often amazed at how our children are processing the pandemic and changes it has brought and this was just another example of that. I hope you enjoy her picture!
Act of Kindness
Way to go Aarjav for being so kind!
