CHROMEBOOK COLLECTION

Chromebook collection will begin May 16th for Seniors and will continue through the last day of School, May 21st, for all other grade levels. Please return both your Chromebook and the charger at your earliest convenience within that time frame. Tables will be set up near the building exits for an easy return. Once your chromebook and charger have been returned and scanned into our system, your name will be cleared for the summer. If you do not return your Chromebook a charge of $300.00 will be added to your IC account. If you do not return your charging cord a charge of $25.o0 will be added to your IC account. Help make asset collection and the end of the year a smooth process and return your chromebook upon leaving the building the last time for the summer! Have a great summer break Silver Knights.

SHS LIBRARY NEWS

Overdue Books: If you have an overdue book, please return it as soon as you can.

You will see a fee for the price of the book in your IC account until that book is returned.


Last day to turn in books: May 13th, 2022,is the last day for Seniors and May 19, 2022, the last day of school, is the last day for everyone else. If you do not return your book, a fine will be issued to your IC account.


Chromebook Collection: We will be collecting Senior Chromebooks on May 16th and all other chromebooks on May 19th. Please be sure to bring both the computer AND the charger with you that day. If you currently use your own computer, and have the school issued one at home, you can bring it in any day before May 19th and we will keep it for you, if you need it.

Learn and Give Input on the 2022 Bond

Come learn about the potential 2022 bond: where we’ve been, where we’re at, and where we could go! In addition to digging into the details, you’ll get an opportunity to weigh in on the potential packages — and future school facility projects — developed by the Bond Steering Committee. Attend this special session for school families on May 9th at 4:00 PM in the SHS Auditorium. Can’t make it? There will be community-wide sessions at the end of the month, with more information to come!

Colorado Department of Transportation Apprenticeship Opportunity

CDOT is looking to hire (2) Greeley-based Highway Maintenance apprentices for the summer. Applications will be open from April 11-25. There will be an information session on April 12. CDOT is specifically recruiting high school seniors. Starting wage: $14.15. These apprentice positions offer two years of paid mentorship, classroom and hands-on training to prepare for a meaningful career in public safety. Apprentices will earn their Commercial Driver's License and meet requirements to qualify for a Highway Maintenance Specialist position at one of the many locations across Colorado. Full benefits are provided. To qualify, candidates must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. CareerWise Colorado Apprenticeship Opportunities: CareerWise Colorado is a modern youth apprenticeship program. Through this program, students will engage in meaningful work, earn a nationally recognized industry certification, develop a professional network, and gain the opportunity to earn debt-free college credit. Bank of Colorado - Johnstown - Teller Position - (1 Position) - Compensation: $13-15/Hr - Responsibilities include: receiving and paying money to bank customers; ensuring accurate record keeping of deposits and withdrawals, negotiable instruments, and other bank transactions; perform a broad variety of customer service and sales activities, selling and opening new accounts, closing accounts, and advising customers on all bank services.


First Bank - Fort Collins (1013 E. Harmony Rd.) & Loveland (1352 W. Eisenhower Blvd.) - Teller Position - (2 Positions) - Responsibilities include: receiving and paying money to bank customers; ensuring accurate record keeping of deposits and withdrawals, negotiable instruments, and other bank transactions; perform a broad variety of customer service and sales activities, selling and opening new accounts, closing accounts, and advising customers on all bank services.


Tolmar - (Windsor & Fort Collins) - Manufacturing Technician - (5 Positions) - Compensation: $16.25/Hr - Responsibilities: set up and operate production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures; inspect and adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, and ring gauges; set up and verify functionality of safety equipment, troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products; start up and shut down processing equipment.

Annual Family Check-In is now open for all currently enrolled families who will have children in our district for the 2022-2023 school year. Log into your Infinite Campus parent portal account now to complete this process. Once logged in, select "More" and then "Annual Family Check In" to begin.
