News You Can Use!
We have had a very busy week, so Monday's faculty meeting will be virtual. Please mark your calendars for April's meeting on 4/1 after school. This meeting will cover PARCC security training.
Please keep Linda Castellini and Mary Underwood of our cafeteria in your thoughts. Both recently had deaths in their family.
Thank to our staff members who helped out tonight with Read Across America! Chris Hannah, Nicole Sapello, Darlene Castellini, Lauren Valentine, Linda Wheaton, Lauren Geisser, Alexis Cartagena, Danielle Weir, Karen Kreck, Gina Castellini, Jen Hesser, Lisa Patrignani, Rachel Parks...and I know I missed some people!
Please remember the Nurse's Office is closed from 1:50-2:50. Please send any students that need a nurse visit to the Main Office during this time.

TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Words of Wisdom
Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.
~ Mark Twain
The hurt experienced during a betrayal or wrongdoing can be deep and long-lasting. What it doesn't have to be is permanent and damaging. Whether we hear the words of apology that we want to hear or not, moving on is an integral part of healing. Forgiveness is not acting as though nothing happened, it's the realization that the only person continuing to be harmed is yourself. It's important to take the time to explain to young people that forgiveness is not a sign of weakness. In fact, it's the ultimate strength because it releases the grip of resentment and restores one's personal power.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself.
Keep your kindness intact. Let go of the pain of a past hurt. You don't have to forget, but by forgiving, you allow yourself the permission to heal.
Happy Birthday!
