APPLY FOR CHILDCARE AND PARENT SERVICES (CAPS) PROGRAM

The Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program assists low-income families with the cost of childcare.


Certain families are eligible to receive financial assistance to help with the cost of childcare. The Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program, administered by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL), helps parents access childcare so they can attend work, school, or training programs. DON'T MISS OUT ON THE FUN!!!

Calling all parents and local vendors! Shiloh is hosting a schoolwide celebration of culture, food, and the arts!

Thursday, November 10 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Parents and vendors may set up at 5:30. The event will close by 8:00.



Ideas may include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Authentic dress and/or music

· Food samples (plan for 50-100 small samples), please provide your own paper products and serving utensils. We will furnish electrical outlets, power strips, extension cords, etc., as well as a table and chairs for your use.

· Objects that represent your country (art, coins/money, cultural items, clothing etc.)

· A display board with pictures, your country’s flag, etc.

· Items for sale that represent your country (please limit prices to $15.00 or less)

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

Shiloh Elementary will continue to offer our FREE program

called Play 2 Learn, for ages birth to 5 along with a parent or guardian!

This class is offered once a week, every Wednesday from 9:10am - 10:40am starting on August 10 and going through May. You do not have to live in our school district to register, you just need to live anywhere in Gwinnett county. All instruction is in-person.
