CGB Elementary News
October 6, 2023
Students are getting into their school routines. The first six weeks of school is typically the amount of time that it takes for procedures and expectations to become habits in elementary schools. We all work hard to help set these routines in all areas of the building.
I will again send monthly newsletters out to all CGB Elementary families. I generally send the newsletter out on the first Friday of the month. Please feel free to share the Smore Newsletter link with family members or friends to share the great things happening at CGB Elementary.
Homecoming
Paws Core Values
Before the school year all CGB Elementary staff collaboratively worked on defining specific expectations within each core value in the hallways, media center, playground, and cafeteria. You may review these expectations with the attached image with you child. These posters are displayed throughout the school.

Custodian Appreciation Day Oct. 2
Elliott Barbosa is our grounds and maintenance supervisor. Elliott serves the district in many different capacities. He is busy going between buildings repairing, moving, cleaning, managing, communicating, and serving our students. He has been with us since last March and we are so appreciative for his extra work for improving our grounds and buildings. He does a great job. Thanks Elliott for all of your work at CGB!
