In judaism are called Jews. They believe in the god of Abraham. Some only eat Kosher foods-no pork,shellfish, or mixing of milk and meat products.-Bar (boy) Mitzvah at age 13 or bat (girl)mitzvah at age 12; one is now a full member of the congregation.Synagogue is there place of worship. Rabbi is the teacher of Torah; guide. The holy book is Tanakh or Torah. Rosh Hashanah=new year, fasting starts. Yom Kippur is fasting ends, celebration. Passover Is Angel of Death “passed over”. Hebrews who were in bondage in Egypt.Hanukkah is celebrates miracle of oil lasting 8 days when only enough for 1 day in Temple. They are monothesitic.
