Purpose of the Post
The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America, has established a Law Enforcement Explorer’s Post. The purpose of the program is to provide community youth with positive role models from the police profession, to educate our youth in the complexities of law enforcement, and to build strong police-youth relationships through cooperative community service activities. Along with community service activities the Post also teaches youth communication skills and various other skill sets. (Age Group: 14-21 years of age)
