Bush Weekly News

May 2 - 6

Notes for the week:

We had another fabulous week of MAP Testing! Our fifth graders finished up ELA and third grade completed math. The third grade teachers are excited about being finished and are proud of their students for working so hard! Again, we appreciated all of the classes doing such a great job in the hallways! All make-ups have been completed and a BIG "thank you" to Ms. Baker and Mrs. Alexander for assisting with that process!!

It's hard to believe we're into May! As we begin our last month of school, I want to emphasis how important it is to keep your daily routine and structure in place. Thanks for providing such a positive and inviting environment so all kids can learn! If you have questions or need assistance with any student issues, please see me or Joe. Thanks for all you do!!!

Most likely, we will have our May Staff Meeting at Jalisco's for a quick get together, team building activity, and follow up with notes. Please feel free to bring your kids to hang out with us!

Art Work

Classes have been working very hard on landscapes, weaving, and water colors. Bush students are very artistic!

FEC Visitiors

As we begin to transition students to classrooms for next year, we had some new friends visit Bush School. FEC took time our of their schedule to vist the kindergarten classrooms and to learn about expectations for next year. Our new kindergarten students enjoyed visiting the classrooms, toured the playground and library! We look forward to having them with us during the new school year!

Have a great weekend! After such a busy week, everyone is ready for some rest and relaxation! Be safe if you are traveling!
