Endangered Species

What is Endangered Species?
Endangered species is when different species become extinct in the near future. Throughout history millions of species have disappeared, due to natural processes.
How do endangered species affect us humans?
The most immediate impact would likely be on the food chain. For example, as sea surface temperatures continue to rise, many species of plankton are beginning to decline. If the plankton, such as diatoms and krill, were to go entirely, it would have an impact on larger creatures, such as fish and whales who consume it as a major food source. In turn, if those larger marine animals have less to eat, and their own population declines. It would cause a chain reaction through the food chain, ultimately reducing human food sources.
Ways to impact the Endangered species
You can learn about the endangered species, visit a national wildlife park, make your home wildlife friendly, native plants provide food and shelter, slow down driving recycle, never purchase things that will hurt any species, and protect wildlife habitat.
Earth Endangered Species
Species like a bald eagle, grizzly bear, American bison, timber wolf, sea turtles, and etc.. have been hunted nearly to extinction.
