Principal's Message

As we approach the Thanksgiving Break, I have been reflecting and I am so thankful for the opportunities we have to work with your children. We are so proud of the growth and successes of all of our students during this school year. They are fun, focused, dedicated, and persevere during their learning! In this season of reflection and gratitude, I also wanted to take a moment to simply and sincerely say “Thank You!” for everything you have done, are doing, and will continue to do to help and support our students, our staff, and our wonderful school community.

From our house to yours, we hope that you and your family have a safe, fun, fulfilling, and restful break!

Santa Shop

Santa Shop is right around the corner! See below for details. We need volunteers and that sign-up will be coming in a separate email. Please consider volunteering for this activity as it really is a lot of fun to help students shop for their family members. K, 1st, and 2nd, will be shopping on Dec. 8 and 3rd, 4th, and 5th will be shopping on Dec. 9. For a list of times when each class is scheduled to shop, click here.

Student Council-donations for BLAS and Pop Tab Collection

Thanks to your generosity, we donated 781 items to BLAS! StuCo students did a great job of collecting, delivering, and sorting the items.

StuCo members have been busy as some of them were able to meet with Alan Lubert, Community Relations Manager for the Ronald McDonald House, to discuss their pop tab program. We would like to support the Ronald McDonald House and see just how many pop tabs we can collect. Please see the picture below that describes WHY pop tabs are collected and how they help and then please start collecting them and bring them to school anytime! Thank you!

Veterans Day Celebrations

Shout out to Mrs. Frazier and the 4th graders for an incredible, patriotic performance. For those who were able to experience this one, I think you would agree that having the 4th grade program celebrate veterans was a little emotional and very amazing!

Our 4th graders also got to experience a veteran guest speaker, Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Michael Essary. He came and spoke to the GRE 4th graders about the military. He shared his experience and what inspired him to join, as well as shared about all the places he’s been.

Calling all Kindergarteners for 2023-2024!

It's not too early to start planning! Parents, if you have a child who will be 5 before 8/31/23 and you plan for them to attend kindergarten next year, please take less than a minute to complete this form so that we can start our planning sooner than later. Please also share this with any neighbors. Thank you!
