Hat Day and School-wide Parade

The community service committee organized the Hat Day/Hat Parade. Lincoln School raised over $600 for the Heavenly Hats Foundation, a non-profit organization which donates brand new hats to cancer patients of all ages, nationwide.

A special thanks to everyone on the community service team for leading this event. Thank you to all our participants that made this event a success!

Classroom Highlight: BEST PART OF ME CLASSROOM ACTIVITY

Ms. Fandrick's (4th Grade), Ms. Brown (3rd Grade) and Ms. Napoliello's (5th Grade) class engaged in reading the model text "The Best Part of Me" to help their students brainstorm and share "the best part of us." Then students wrote about what they loved and appreciated about themselves. This activity help foster confidence and appreciation for differences.
