New Transportation Form from the Office
Parent Climate Survey deadline until April 7th
The district’s Leander ISD Parent Climate Survey is now open! Share feedback on academic preparation, safety and behavior, school leadership, family involvement, and more! The survey is offered in English and Spanish. It’s compatible with any computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Talent Show is COMING
2019 River Place Elementary Talent Show!!!
April 17th * 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Any River Place student can be a STAR! All students K-5 are welcome to perform! Performances can include dance, vocals, gymnastics, and more!
Submission Deadline is April 3, both attached forms must be filled out and returned to the office.
Tryout Dates - April 5th, 3-6pm
Talent Show - April 17th, 6-8pm
April 3rd IS THE DEADLINE for all ACTS to submit their talent information form and consent form, music (must be in the form of a USB/Flash drive) and hard copy of lyrics for approval. All submissions must be made to the front office of RPE. Once received, you will be notified that your song of choice is accepted or not approved.

ONLY ONE ACT PER CHILD
NO MUSIC OR CONSENT FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH EMAIL
USB/FLASH DRIVE MUST BE SUBMITTED & BE THE CORRECT LENGTH OF ACT
CLOSED TRYOUTS (No family or friends inside MPR) will be held on April 5th, 3:00 - 6:00.
EVERY ACT AND PERFORMER MUST BE IN FULL COSTUME FOR TRYOUTS
COSTUMES MUST BE APPROVED AT TRYOUTS (must follow RPE dress code)
Changes to performances will not be allowed after tryouts
As mentioned above, every performer is required to turn in talent act information form and a consent form (2 forms in total), music, and lyrics by April 3rd. If performance is a GROUP act, the GROUP must turn in ALL consent forms together along with their music and hard copy of lyrics.

Our Learning Targets
Math: We can represent the quotient of up to a four-digit whole number divided by a one-digit whole number using arrays, area models, or equations. We can use strategies to divide up to a four-digit dividend by a one-digit divisor.
Science: We can determine profit.
Language Arts: Students will participate in Writing Camp activities in order to review essential skills necessary for the up coming STAAR Writing Assessment.
Social Studies: We can identify the importance of historical figures who modeled active participation in the democratic process (David G. Burnett, Lorenzo DeZavala, Sam Houston).
