Reminder: No School November 24-26th!

Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures

We have two major goals with afternoon pick-up: 1) Student safety and 2) Efficiency

As you can see in the image below, our designated pick-up area is the four (4) spaces adjacent to the playground/blacktop. Students will remain on the blacktop area until their vehicle is in one of the four pick-up zones.

Of course, families are welcome to park their vehicle in the parking lot and then walk over to the sidewalk to retrieve their student as well. However, due to student safety, please understand that we will not send an unaccompanied child over to a parked vehicle.

If you could share this information with grandparents or other relatives that will be picking your student up on occasion, we would sure appreciate it.

Eagle Bluff Fundraising for 5th Grade Students

Many of the upcoming fundraising opportunities require families to sign-up. Please do so by visiting the website: bit.ly/3EUHtwN. At this time we are asking students to sign up for only two (2) events.

We've got a great group of parents exploring different fundraisers for our students, so stay tuned for additional opportunities!

Attention: Eagle Bluff Chaperones for 5th Grade Students

If you have not done so already, please return the background check paperwork to the school office as soon as possible. If you need a new copy, please call (507)237-5511. Thank you!

Conference Night Tic-Tac-Toe Winners

Congratulations to Hunter Westlund and Itzia Bello on being our Tic-Tac-Toe winners from November conferences!

2nd Grade "Friendsgiving" Event!

Brrr...It's Cold!

If you have not done so already, please take the opportunity over the extended break to dig out all of your winter weather gear. Please label your child's items with their name. The Lost and Found is getting quite full.

We will have outside recess unless the temperature/wind chill drops below 0 degrees. Below is a helpful guide!

If you are in need of winter gear for your student(s), please contact Mrs. Halverson at michelle.halverson@sibleyeast.org

A Note from Nurse Nancy

We will be doing vision screening at Sibley East Elementary on November 30 and December 1 and 2. We will screen students in grades K, 1, 3 and 5 and all students receiving special ed services. If you do not want your child/children screened, please notify the Gaylord Health Office at 507-237-3317.

We are unable to do mass hearing screening this year. If you have any concerns about your child's hearing, please let us know and we will be very happy to screen him/her.
