4 Different Book Clubs to Choose From
Join us!
Summer is a great time to read a great book and earn some CTLE hours. There are three different book clubs available for you to join and earn up to 20 hours of CTLE credit. Each book club will read a different resource, engage in asynchronous Schoology discussions, and meet twice as a group in an online Zoom meeting.
The four book clubs to choose from are:
- Fostering Resilient Learners lead by Jennifer Raponi: Strategies for Creating a Trauma Sensitive Classroom by Kristin Sours & Pete Hall.
- Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain lead by Shawnna Sweet: Promoting Authentic Engagement and Rigor Among Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students by Zaretta Hammond.
- Equity Partnerships lead by Nicole Bell: A Culturally Proficient Guide to Family, School, and Community Engagement by Angela Clark-Loque, Randall Lindsey, Reyes Quezada & Cynthia Jew.
- Dare to Lead lead by Jennifer Raponi. Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts. by Brené Brown.
