Mustache Monday-April 20th
-Have your students wear a mustache for the day. They can bring one from home or they can cut one out here at school.
Tournament Tuesday-April 21st
-During LC time have your class play Quack. At 9:30 send one winner from your class to the library. We will have a “Quack Off” for each grade level. We will video tape this so you can show your class.
Wiggle Wednesday-April 23rd
-Fox, Stevens, Hussain and Anderson will show the entire grade level a GoNoodle video in the gym. They will get all their wiggles out. The schedule is as follows and will be the teachers prep time for that day.

New Family Orientation Night
As HSE School District is preparing for redistricting transition, we are excited to announce a New Family Orientation Night. If your child is new to CRES next year please join the CRES staff and community at Cumberland Road Elementary on May 18 from 5:00PM-7:00PM. At this time you will be able to meet staff, tour the building and learn more about your new school, PTO and community. Cumberland Road staff is very excited to see you!
Get “Book Strong” with IU Health
Get “Book Strong” with IU Health and the Indianapolis Colts! Join Blue, your Indianapolis Colts’ Cheerleaders and MORE!
IU Health is partnering with Barnes and Noble and the Indianapolis Colts to celebrate Book Strong, an IU Health campaign to raise funds to support Kindergarten Countdown students across the state with over 9,000 level-one reading books! And, thanks to a donation by Barnes and Noble, we’re halfway there!
Kindergarten Countdown is a statewide high-impact initiative sponsored by Indiana University Health, in association with United Way, that helps at-risk children achieve school success.
Join us on April 21st from 6pm-7pm at Barnes and Noble at Keystone at the Crossing (8675 River Crossing Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46240) to celebrate and kick-off our Book Strong campaign. The Indianapolis Colts will be on hand with Blue, Indianapolis Colts’ Cheerleaders, a surprise guest and more.
Grab your favorite book, bring the family, and enjoy the fun as we get “Book Strong” for Kindergarten Countdown!

Fishers Tri Kappa Garage Sale
Saturday, May 2nd
Shop at the Fishers Tri Kappa’s garage sale on Saturday, May 2nd from 8am to noon! It will be held at FISHERS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL located at 13257 Cumberland Road (just north of the intersection of Cumberland and 131st Street)
The sale will feature items such as gently used adult and children’s clothing, toys, DVD’s, cd’s, books, furniture, small appliances, sports equipment, home décor and much more!
All proceeds will go towards Hamilton Southeastern and Fishers student scholarships.

Fall 2015 Open Registration for football, cheerleading, soccer, girls volleyball, fall baseball, cross country and boys and girls winter basketball will begin on May 1 and continue through May 31 (basketball registration remains open through August 31). Registration forms will be available on the S.P.O.R.T.S. website, at the S.P.OR.T.S. office, at all HSE schools and the Fishers Library. Parents may also register online and can pay online with a credit card or can print the registration form and submit it to the S.P.O.R.T.S. office with cash or check payment. Credit cards are not accepted in the office.
Fishers-HSE Baseball Youth Night – Friday, April 17, the FHS Tigers will host the HSE Royals at 6:00 p.m. All youth baseball players will be admitted free with a paying adult. Players should arrive between 5:15-5:30 and meet behind the 1st base dugout. All teams will be introduced prior to the game and players will have the opportunity to be on the field for the starting lineups and National Anthem.
S.P.O.R.T.S. Youth Volleyball is open to girls in grades 4th-8th for the 2015/2016 school year. Registration begins May 1 through S.P.OR.T.S. Enrollment numbers are limited so register early!
S.P.O.R.T.S. Youth Volleyball Competitive League Evaluations - for girls entering 5th and 6th grade in the fall of 2015 and interested in playing in the competitive league in the fall, will take place on Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 20. Girls must be registered for volleyball through S.P.O.R.T.S. to tryout. Registration begins May 1. Click here for more information.
S.P.O.R.T.S. Youth Volleyball is seeking board and committee members. There are a variety of open positions with varying time commitments. The season is ten weeks, mid-August to mid-October and ends before fall break. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Janet Berg at f.j.berg@sbcglobal.net.
