Physical Science
Lets get physical!
Course Description
By the end of this course you will see the world through the eyes of a scientist. Laboratory investigations that include the use of scientific inquiry, research, measurement, problem solving, laboratory apparatus and technologies, experimental procedures, and safety procedures are an integral part of this course. For a complete list of the Physical Science standards you can visit the Florida State Standards website: www.fldoe.org/bii/curriculum/sss/
Expectations
This course is designed to greatly increase your knowledge of scientific investigations. I expect that by the end of it you will move comfortably around a lab setting, in terms of lab practice and safety. I expect that you will bring your best self to class everyday, and be willing to try new things, even if it might make you uncomfortable at first. I set my expectations high for you, as I know you are capable of becoming a great scientist. I also require that you cheer on your fellow classmates, especially as we explore the new digital curriculum idea. It is important that you not only help yourself with this class, but also help others.
