Native Americans
Our third grade class has been working on learning about Native American tribes. They lived all over America and Canada. So far we have made posters and homes out of sticks, vines, hot glue, felt, construction paper, and more! We took a video tour of the life as a Native American and learned that some things the Natives did we don't do anymore.
Lexia Packets
Lexia Packets are spelling, writing, and reading packets with word searches, find the word for the definition, and other activities in them. There are different levels and they go from level one to eighteen. All our classmates are on different levels. We work on these packets during fit which is at 8:15 to 8:45.
Fractions and Math
We finished our fraction race today! The quarters won. Nobody spun an eighth, there were only three halves spun, and we spun seven fourths. This math race was a lot of fun! We have been math bridges books and math games like Carrot Grab. In the game Carrot Grab we spin on a spinner and it says one, two, three and then jump by tens one, two, three times to each carrot and try to get the bunny to the carrot cake.
