Community Science Night 2019: Volunteers Needed!
OUSD is partnering with SCC and PYLUSD once again to offer an exciting evening of STEAM. The event is open to the public, and no tickets are required. Our theme is year is "Dig into Science" which will be wrapped around dinosaurs and our prehistoric past. If you would like to just attend, please join us. We also need volunteers to run dinosaur themed stations. If you are interested in doing this, please sign up below. A maximum of 15 stations and 2 teachers per room will be allowed. An incentive will be given to all participating volunteers.

Orange Unified's NGSS Online Modules (Coming Soon!)
Orange Unified will be creating NGSS Online Modules for TK-12th teachers to help transition to the new science standards. These modules are optional, and can be done at your own time and pace. Completion of the modules will result in digital badges that you can use to show mastery of the new standards. (Coming Soon!)

Bozeman Science Resources
Bozeman Science has practical resources for teachers who are looking to implement NGSS already. My favorite resource is the NGSS Cards collection. Check out these cards that can be used to provide a greater awareness to the 3D Science that runs through NGSS instruction and assessment. A link to the full site is found here.
Phenomena for NGSS
