May 24-26th - No parking nor entrance at the North/stadium side for any staff/families
That means, over 3000 seniors are getting the opportunity to walk the stage in person at our very own Mark Macres Memorial Stadium! That is an amazing thing for this year's seniors and we are excited to be the most gracious hosts.
That does however impact the North/Stadium side of campus for all of us May 24-26th.
Thank you to everyone for being so flexible to make sure these 3000+ seniors are getting this opportunity that they and their families will treasure forever.
- The stadium will be off limits from May 21 through May 27th for set up, graduations and clean up.
- Parking and drop off/pick up will only occur in the front of the school off Power Inn.
- Arrive early to not be too impacted by traffic if possible.
- Campus Supervisors will help in the parking lot before school to ensure only staff and students who drive are entering the front parking lot. Admin will supervise entrance at gates.
- Graduation parking is with a permit only in the North/stadium parking lot and only one permit per graduate. Staff will be encouraged to carpool when possible for their graduation.
All other details for SENIORS will be emailed via Parentvue and Studentvue to seniors so please be sure to be looking at the emails daily or you may miss something.
Summer School 2021 - more details to come
- June 7 - July 23rd remediation/limited acceleration - mostly online with a couple of in person courses (schedule to be determined but possibly am/pm sessions ... online will be full 7 weeks with some students finishing faster....whereas in person may be 4 weeks due to the requirements for earning credits)
- There will be enrichment, learning recovery support, and support offered but offerings and schedule are to be determined. These will most likely be shorter time frames and will not be credit-bearing courses
- Summer School Administrators - Talia Chapman and David Coronado will begin communications as they get more details very soon.
Respecting each other's safety - following the protocols
Help us to be safe by:
- wearing the mask correctly (over nose and mouth)
- We must wear them on campus now even if vaccinated.
Let's be sure to follow all safety protocols including but not limited to:
- use the daily checklist and do not come to campus if any experiencing any symptoms
- wear masks when on campus
- social distance 6ft or more
These will still be in place even if you are vaccinated.
Avoid eating together in the same space and do not share food - this has been a main contributor to close contacts in schools
