AGCS Micro Farm Camp
Back by popular demand... Fun on the Farm Summer Camp!
August 12th-16th, 2019
Fun on the Farm Camp is open to current AGCS students in grades K-2
Has your child ever wanted to spend a day on the farm? Good news-you won't have to travel far! AGCS will be hosting the second annual Fun on the Farm Summer Camp. Our week long camp allows students grades K-2 to experience life on a farm. Our AGCS teachers and junior counselors have designed an exciting program that creates an outdoor learning opportunity at the State Rd Micro Farm. Student "farmers", with a 2:1 camper to counselor ratio, will get to harvest and cook produce from our card gardens, tend to our animals, explore the farm and surrounding woods/creek area, make crafts and play farm games. Your child will grow, learn, and play through creative, hands-on experiences in farm care, gardening, beekeeping, daily hikes, and meet local community members.
Our teachers and junior counselors are excited to spend the week with your child!
Campers will tend to and feed animals daily.
Camp snacks are made fresh from the garden!
