7th Grade Students Explore the Courses Available at the GCISD Technology Education and Career Center
Be a part of the GMS Math & Science Team
The GMS Math & Science team will be hosting the next competition on Saturday, February 6th and the regional qualifying meet on March 5. Both meets are free to our GMS ponies, so please see Mrs. Adkins or the front office for a form to sign up.
We are pulling for our GMS ponies as they work their way toward the State Meet in San Antonio in April!
Immerse your student in STEM! On February 20th, your child can participate in either Visioneering at SMU or the FABNow Conference in Fort Worth.
FAB NOW Conference 2016.
At the FAB NOW Conference 2016, Makers and Learners meet to show a project, demo it, explain it: why you did it, how you built it, what’s important about it! On the TCC Campus in Forth Worth, you will have a six foot table, electrical power, wifi, two chairs - and all day Saturday, February 20th, 2016 to showcase your work!
GMS STEM Academy students who are interested in participating will be eligible to attend. Your teachers will have more information after the break on sighing up. For now, click this link for a copy of the invitation flyer to get more information.
Visioneering 2016 at SMU.
SMU Lyle School of Engineering - Saturday, February 20, 2016:
Visioneering celebrates the ways that engineering makes a difference in the world by immersing middle school students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in the fields of engineering, the design process, team work, presentation, and problem solving skills.
