Banned Books Week brings together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers — in shared support of the freedom to seek and express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular."
Stand with the Banned
Want to send your support to an author who has had works banned or challenged?
This week, stop in the US Library to write a postcard to John Green, Angie Thomas, Rainbow Rowell, Judy Blume, or another of your favorites and let them know how important their works are to you!
All who submit an author postcard to the library will be entered into a drawing for a Banned Books Week prize.
