CPU (Central Processing unit)
The CPU, often called the processor, contain a microprocessor. Microprocessor controls all the PC’s operation and the performance of hardware and software will depend on how well the processor performes. There are two examples of largest CPU manufacterers for PC and they are Intel and AMD. 32-bit and 64-bit are the common CPU architectures, and some softwares depend on this architecture distinction.

Computer monitor is a screen that displays output and signals from a computer.
RAM
RAM is needed for the processor to store information temporarily while being processed, such as when there are too many programs going on, if there is an ample amount of RAM, it is not going to let the computer slow down.
Hard Drive/SSD
The hard drive or solid state drive is a drive used to store PC's operating system and software. The SSD is much smaller than the hard drive because it is for smaller devices such as smartphones.
