Get Georgia Reading

myON has partnered with Get Georgia Reading to provide children in Georgia FREE access to a digital library. This library boasts more than 8,000 enhanced stories with audio support for readers. Go to and click the red "Log in now" button. Use the following login information to begin reading:

The features are fabulous! You can pause the screen reader if you want to read on your own. Also, if you don't know the meaning or pronunciation of the word, simply click the word and a definition with pronunciation pops up on the side of the page.

Have you dipped your toes into Google Drive yet?

A good goal for summer is to test the waters with Google Drive. The county has provided us with district wide access. Your username is your and your password is your regular password. Google Drive is a wonderful collaborative tool. You might consider using a Google Doc to collaboratively plan with your team for the 15-16 school year. Multiple users are able to edit the same doc simultaneously! If you haven't done so already, join the FCS Google course in itslearning. There are tons of resources and how tos to help familiarize you with the tools. Let me know if you have any questions!
