  • Frying cooking methods obviously end up causing more calories and fats then lets say braising, or roasting.
  • when you eating a roasted form of poultry, the fat has already melted away while the food is being roasted.

White vs. Dark Poultry

  • Dark meat chicken has twice the amount of fat that white meat chicken does.
  • When dark meat is cooked, it is extremely high in iron.
  • White meat has less calories than dark meat does.
