Good evening Spartans,

I hope you all had a restful weekend and are ready to take on the last nineteen days of the school year. That's right Spartans, only four weeks left of school before summer break! This week is another busy one as we continue with AP exams and CAASPP testing. Out of the four weeks remaining in school, only three of them are regular schedule days with the last week being finals week. So that means that students only have three weeks to either maintain or raise their grades. Students, please make sure you are communicating with your teachers to make sure you are aware of your grades and what needs to be done to do the best you can in all of your classes. With so few days left in the school year, it is also important that you are here and on time every day.

This week will also be the last regular season week for most of our Spring sports and our end of year SCPA concert and performance season is well underway. Hopefully you get a chance to cheer on our Spartan student-athletes or enjoy our talented students perform for you. Our SCPA events this week include a Mariachi concert, the SCPA Art Show and our Spring Dance Concert. There is always something great happening at the Home of Champions!

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

It is officially that time of year and AP Testing begins this week! Our Spartans have worked hard throughout the year showing their dedication, intellectual ability and grit - it is now time for them to show off everything they have learned!

Over the next two weeks (May 1st, 2023-May 12th, 2023) we will hosting AP Testing on campus in the Youth Center, The College and Career Center and Room 156. It is absolutely crucial that students arrive on time for registration (7:30am for morning exams and 11:30am for afternoon exams) to ensure that they are ready and admitted into the testing site before the test begins.

Students who arrive late will not be allowed to take the AP exam, regardless if they are registered or not. Please view the schedule and more information on the link provided.

Our mission at the Parent Center is to be your partners in parenting! We offer many services at the Parent Center such as emergency shelter and food referrals, we have a food pantry and clothes closet open to the community, we assist with job training and referrals, and offer FREE parent workshops throughout the year. Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
