Veterans' Day Dinner

November 8, 2019

Many thanks to those who gave of their time, their efforts and their assets to the Veterans' Day Dinner on November 8, 2019. This annual event is not possible without the assistance of the staff, students, community members and patrons of the Mini-Cassia area.

Wayside Cafe donated the wonderful meal of Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with bacon and pumpkin cake. This donation was deeply appreciated; it allowed many of the Veterans of our community, a hearty meal and the companionship of others with a similar past.

Families and Friends of MHHS donated the following items for this event, also. All door prizes were given to Veterans only:

  • Hauns Hardware
  • Mr. & Mrs. Plocher
  • Les Schwab Tire
  • Ms. Pelayo's Junior Advisory Class
  • Alissa Eames
  • Mr. & Mrs. Schneider
  • Ms. Carly Grant
  • Ms. Mary Davis
  • Ms. Stevenson
  • Mr. & Mrs. Chantry
  • Hurst Educational Foundation

Many thanks to the students who gave of their time to assist in this wonderful endeavor! We look forward to this event next year!
