KPAT Happenings

Happy February!

We sure hope your new year is off to a great start. We have been very busy behind the scenes. Just last week we launched our new podcast--Skip Hop! While none of us are professional podcasters, we have lots of good information to share. This is just one more way we are working hard to support you and your family. The content is completely driven by YOU! Click the picture of the podcast logo below and it will take you to our webpage with all the details.

We are trying a new format to our newsletter this time around. Some parents have reported not receiving the newsletter in the past, so we are changing it up. Hopefully this will be the answer. We definitely want you to be getting the information!

Since January, we have offered an excellent Lunch 'n Learn on emotional regulation, hosted a fantastic bilingual storytime with Ms. Gaby, and our friends at Kirkwood Library hosted us for a story and craft. Next up: Messy Play! (see below). Thank you to all who have been able to attend.

The last 2-3 years really impacted all of us; it is so wonderful to be able to meet in groups again this year. We love seeing all of your smiles--doesn't get old!

As always, please reach out with any questions, concerns, feedback, or ideas! Our program is designed to support the families in our community. We value your input and use it to shape future programming.

It is our privilege to be a part of your family's parenting journey,

The KPAT Crew

Join us for Messy Play!

Come and get messy with us! Come join us for this family (and staff!) favorite annual event. As noted, we will plan to be outside unless Mother Nature has other plans. All ages welcome! We try to have something for everyone.
Big picture

Discovery Room

We re-opened the Discovery Room this year for the first time since March 2020. We appreciate all of you that have been able to attend. Right now we have dates through April. If the date you want is full, please keep checking. Often we have families give up their time due to illness or other commitments. Currently, we are in the process of planning for summer/fall programming, so stay tuned!

To sign up for remaining dates, click the picture below. There are still spots available! If you have a kiddo that doesn't nap we have an afternoon play time scheduled this Thursday 2/16 with several openings!

Digging Into Diversity

February is Black History Month. Please enjoy these resources we have put together with activities and information you can use to help celebrate. For one-stop information with all kinds of resources on diversity, please visit our website: KECC Talks Race
