The 1920s was a hard time for the brewing companies because of the prohibition. Brewing alcohol became the biggest industry in the late 1800s early 1900s. By the early 1900s the people became alarmed at the behavior Americans had been portraying because of the alcohol, so they decided to place a ban on all alcoholic beverages. Making alcohol illegal created an uproar from the people.
In 1933, the 21th Amendment was made ending the Prohibition Act.
