CULTURAL APPRECIATION FAIR

At Endeavour, we are offering an amazing opportunity for our families to share a little about themselves on Tuesday, March 31st from 6:00-7:00 in the Endeavour Gym.

Please take a look at the links below for suggestions on how you might be able to share a little about you. A flier was sent home with your child with more information, as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your teacher or Ms. Sanderfer @ hsanderfer@fifeschools.com.

SMARTER BALANCED ASSESSMENT - 2020

This spring, if your student is in grade 3, 4 or 5, they will take the Smarter Balanced tests in Math and English Language Arts. Students in grades 5 and 8 will also take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS).

The results from these tests will give a more accurate picture of whether students are on track to be ready for college or career.

Most students will take the tests online. Our school is scheduled to take the tests in early May. An updated list of dates and times will be shared with you closer to May.

For more information about the Smarter Balanced and WCAS tests, visit: https://www.k12.wa.us/student-success/testing/state-testing-overview, and click on the name of the test.

To try out an online Smarter Balanced practice test or WCAS training test, visit: https://wa.portal.airast.org/training-tests.stml

Thank you for continuing to work with us to make sure your student is successful. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to better support your student. We want your student to leave us with a solid foundation of skills and a future full of opportunities.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Mittelstaedt

BINGO NIGHT - MARCH 27TH - PTO SPONSORED

We are writing to you on behalf of Endeavour Intermediate Parent – Teacher Organization. We are requesting your support for one of our largest and most attended fundraisers, Bingo Night & Silent Auction!

This really fun community event will be on March 27, 2020 at the Columbia Junior High School. At this time, we’re hoping you can help us with prizes and auctions items. We couldn’t provide for so many programs for our kids without the generous donations of businesses and individuals in our community.

Some ideas for donations could be gift baskets, new toys, or gift cards and can be geared toward adults or children. Any level of support that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

If you, or someone you know, can contribute in any way, please let us know. Or you can leave your donations in the bin in the Endeavour Intermediate School office.

We hope you will consider supporting the enrichment of your student alongside us. We ask that any donations be made no later than March 13th. Endeavour PTO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and our Federal Tax ID number is 81-3420482. Please keep a copy of this letter as a receipt of your generous donation. All proceeds of this event will go to Endeavour PTO.

Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you at Bingo Night!

Sincerely,

Michelle Y. Lewis - mylewis78@gmail.com & Tanya Smith - tanya042276@gmail.com
