High Expectations

Ideas to support

Below are links to some resources that may be of use when looking at supporting your area. Some woud require more training than others but may inspire ideas.

What is really apparent in students behaviour is that consistency is key. one way to ensure that there is a consistent approach to the expectations is to increase the audience size of who sees what the students produce. Through using blogs or social media students are aware that their work is on show and it can raise the standards in the class and outside,

Similar to above, students need to see that the expectations that are set are appreciated when they are met. I have seen some great examples of displays that incorporate technology to bring the work to life. Ideas such as staff recording comments about students and accessing the recording via QR codes next to the work.

Rewarding behaviours

Class Dojo is a great tool to reward behaviours and maintain standards. It can be accessed online and via mobiles. It is fully customisable to meet the needs you want.
