Duke Ellington was a jazz musician and was apart of the Harlem Renaissance Movement. The movement celebrated new African American cultures.

A speakeasy was a secret bar during the prohibition age.
Al Capone
Al Capone was a gangster during the 1920's. He was the leader of many organized crimes. He was eventually arrested on tax fraud.
Charlie Chaplin
Charlie Chaplin was the staple for movies during the time. He was in many of movies at this time and made propoganda movies during World War II. Movies were silent in the 1920's with text on the screen to describe dialogue.
