Little Learners Programs 2021/2022
We are working hard to plan for the 2021/2022 school year!
We want our programs to be a great experience for our Little Learners!
We plan on having the information ready by the end of February.
Information will be posted on our website by the end of February regarding:
· Programs available and the rates
· Registration information (starts March 24th for new families)
· Open House information (Virtual on March 24th)
We look forward to having your Little Learners be part of our Dooley Family.
Did you know that Fraser Public Schools is a Schools-of-Choice district?
That means, as a Macomb County resident, you can choose to continue to receive the excellent education you’ve enjoyed here at Dooley at a Fraser elementary school, even if you do not live in the Fraser School District. We have the necessary forms in the office and would be happy to answer any questions you may have. You can also find information on the district website: www.gotofraser.com
Looking for a learning environment with options to fit your family in the 2021-2022 school year?
Join us for our Virtual Open House! Find out more about our learning options, safety protocols, and enrollment procedures. This includes parents of DK and Kindergarten students.

DK - A Program for Young 5s
Fraser Public Schools has an established program for students who may benefit from an additional year of learning before kindergarten.
Designed for students with birthdays between May 1 and December 1
Modified kindergarten curriculum
Certified teachers
Specials classes include art, physical education, music, and 21st century
Busing available for resident students
Held at the Dooley Center
Students entering DK must take the Brigance Assessment
More information about the Brigance Assessment can be found on our Kindergarten/DK Enrollment page.
Mask Care
Friendly reminder that students are encouraged to wear a fresh mask each day. The school has plenty of disposable masks available for anyone who is in need of a new one. Students are doing a great job wearing their masks and following these expectations in the classroom.
Health, Safety, & COVID-19 Communication
EVERY DAY, your child will need to complete the Dooley daily health screener to assess if he/she is well and should attend school in person. All health information remains confidential and does not get reported to the district.
We hope our Dooley families are staying healthy. Please continue to reach out to keep us updated about your family's health and notify the office if someone in your household tests positive for Covid-19 or if you find out that your child has been exposed to someone who has tested positive. This information will help mitigate the spread and keep our Dooley community healthy. It is necessary that the daily healthy screener continues to be filled out each morning.
Please note, if your child tests positive for Covid-19, we will need a copy of their test results or confirmation from their physician.
New Covid-19 Guidelines for International Travel
If you plan to travel internationally, please note that a 7-day quarantine AND a negative COVID test are needed before a student may return to school. (Or the student must quarantine for a full 10 days if you choose not to get them tested.) This is consistent with the CDC guidelines. Should you have any questions regarding travel and quarantines, please feel free to reach out.
Dooley Picture Day - Save the Date
We will be holding picture days on March 2nd & 3rd.
More information will follow, but we wanted to get these dates out to our families as soon as possible.
Dress for the Weather!
Winter Weather Reminders- Please be sure to send your child prepared to be out in the cold weather and snow this winter. Heavy coats, boots, snow pants, gloves, and hat/hood are needed each day!
Breakfast/Lunch Information
The February lunch menu can also be accessed here.
Breakfast & lunch are FREE for all students for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. Parents are still asked to complete a Free & Reduced Meal Application, as this information is used for district funding, but it will not determine whether a child qualifies for free meals.
At this time, parents are not expected to pre-order their meals and Meal Order Forms are not required in order to receive a breakfast and/or lunch..
