Lots of fun in room 104!


Writer's Workshop: We are writing an all about book together this week as we learn different features of All about books! Then we are implementing what we learned into our own all about books!
Reader's Workshop: We are posing questions and answering based on our research during are reading time! We are learning that when we read non fiction books, we read for purpose and to learn something!
Word Study/phonics: Infected endings such as -ing, -ed, -s, and -es is the focus this week. Everyone also got their own word study words to practice at home! Remember this can count towards your 20 minutes of reading time!

Math Fluency: In math fluency we will be adding doubles PLUS 1
Math: We will have a PEEPtastic time this week for our math review getting ready for our math assessment next week! Graphing, money, word problems, skip counting and more will be assessed!

Science/Social Studies: We will continue landforms this week!

George Bush Library Field trip- May 1st

We have had to cancel our Blue Bell Field trip on April 9th but we are pleased to announce that we will be going to the George Bush Library on May 1st for the Peter Rabbit storytelling. Look for more information in the take home folder soon!

Snack and more paper are needed please!

We are about to run out of snack! Some snack ideas include- goldfish, crackers, cereal, etc. Thank you for those who have continued to donate this year!!
