Special Messages

FISD HUB Night #2 - The Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) would like to remind you of our 2nd HUB of the year. This HUB will showcase courses in the following Programs of Study:

  • Health Science
  • Pharmacy
  • Medical Microbiology
  • Pathophysiology

HUBs are an opportunity for students and/or parents to visit CTEC and gather information on courses offered in a career pathway. Students and/or parents will have the opportunity to visit two different sessions of the highlighted programs of study. CTEC staff and students will be on hand to discuss their curriculum and answer questions.

FISD Parenting Series - Real Talk: Stress Management - Frisco ISD is very excited to have Vanessa Sanford presenting on this topic along with 4 former/current FISD students who will be talking about how they deal with stress and juggling school, extra-curricular activities, etc. Join us Tuesday, October 4th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Administration Building. Open Mic Night - The Book Fair is looking for a few students for live entertainment at Book Fair Family Night, Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6-8pm. We are looking for vocalists, music ensembles, solo musicians, actors, jugglers, martial arts experts, and MORE to perform on a small stage in the foyer area outside the library. Students must see Ms. Meeks in the library to sign up for an audition spot. Auditions will be held in the library after school on 9/27-29.


PTA Online Spirit Store - Cobb PTA has launched an online spirit wear store until October 14th. Take a look at the flyer here and visit the online store to order. Contact your PTA at pta_spiritwear@cobbpta.org with any questions.


Pink Out Week - Cobb will host our annual Pink Out games vs. Griffin during the week of October 17th for both volleyball and football. We want to PINK OUT the gym and football stadiums! If you would like to order a t-shirt, please read the ordering instructions and visit the online store. Students should include their 1st period teacher on the order for distribution purposes. The ordering deadline is September 30th at 8:00 a.m.
