Home & School Association Happenings

Hornet Glow Run sponsored by Home and School

Samuel Mickle & Jeffrey Clark Families!

The weekend is HERE! I hope you enjoy some much-deserved relaxation this weekend.

Thank you for every share and donation you all have contributed to our Hornet Glow Run fundraiser. We appreciate everyone’s support as we raise donations that will be going towards Home and School Grants for the Jeffrey Clark and Samuel Mickle Schools for stage, lighting, and sound enhancements. This will provide improvements for our assemblies, programs, and performances. If you haven’t registered your student on MYBOOSTER.COM, it’s EASY & FREE to do this weekend.

Then, consider sharing with extended family and friends. And if you are able to, consider making a donation as well. Every share and donation adds up to make a BIG difference for our school.

If your family does get a donation this weekend, you’ll be part of the Weekend Challenge! When your students get $2 per minute (which is $60 total in flat donations) or more in NEW pledges over the weekend, they’ll earn their regular rewards PLUS a bonus reward. Find out what it is on mybooster.com! Additionally- The highest registered class in each grade at the Clark School will earn a glow dance party with the Booster Team & ANY class at Mickle who earns 100% registration will be able to participate in a Bungee Rocket Battle!

We cannot wait to celebrate at our Hornet Glow Run Fundraiser on Thursday, February 16th. Thank you for supporting our school. Have a great weekend!

Character Dares

The purpose of the Character Dare process is to build habits of character by offering consistent, practical ways to engage in the practice of these sometimes-abstract traits. A weekly (and sometimes daily) exercise and check-in around something like kindness helps bring the character trait to life in our real relationships and provides a system for regular conversation and action.

"Kindness" character dare choice boards will be due on March 1st.
