The mace
The mace was a metal stick with a spiked ball on the end. It would be used to deliver massive blows to opponents.
Murder Holes
Murder holes were holes in the ceiling were people would drop Greek fire or shoot arrows out of for defense. They would trap invaders in a certain area, and throw or shoot something down the hole.
The Crossbow
A spring loaded bow and arrow, it packed a lot more punch than its less advanced brother, making it easy to kill a lot of foot soldiers quickly.
Greek Fire.
Greek fire was an oily substance that was heated and then poured onto enemy soldiers, who would run thinking they would put it out, but actually spread it.
