News From Mrs. Bethune:
Hello all,
We had a very fun and exciting Red Ribbon Week! The students enjoyed all of the activities. The highlights were Walter Pitchford dunking the basketball for them and talk with them as well as saying the pledge together! It is always fun to have a few special events throughout the week and the dress up days were a hit! Thank you for all your help and support!
This upcoming week is a fun one as well with Halloween on Tuesday. The younger grades will have their parties and some will wear their costumes. The students are excited to celebrate “All Hallows Eve”. Just a reminder that Wednesday is All Saints Day a Holy Day of Obligation and therefore we will not have school. Friday, November 3rd will be an early dismissal for our staff meeting.
Please keep the school staff and their families in your prayers. There are multiple members of the staff dealing with family illness, death, and hard times right now. We appreciate being part of such a wonderful school family.
God Bless,
Mrs. Leah Bethune

Sock-tober
St. Patrick’s Students in grades 5th-8th that are participating in the after school club that does service projects for the poor, are hosting SOCK-TOBER. Students are collecting new socks, size infant-adult. These socks can be sent with students to their school home room or dropped in a collection site at entry of church. The students will be taking these to the People City Mission the first week of November. We thank you for your donation. This club will be doing monthly activities of service and outreach. I am excited that our youth is eager to the be out in their community sharing the presence of God’s grace.
