Attention any parents interested in being a part of the school Fundraising Committee. There will be two informational meetings on Tuesday, September 20th. One at 3:30 pm and one at 5:30 pm. Both meetings will be held in the Media Center. Please join us to hear about the fundraisers we have planned and to offer feedback and great ideas for other fundraising activities. We look forward to seeing you.

Events Committee:

Please look for a meeting date for the Events Committee coming next week.

Volunteer Committee:

If you are interested in volunteering at SRE, please contact Mr. Henderson to schedule Volunteer training. Additional information will be coming about specific volunteering opportunities.

Schoola Clothing Drive Fundraiser

Starting September 6th, Sand Ridge Elementary began participating in a Schoola Clothing Drive Fundraiser. Schoola is an organization that accepts donations of gently used clothing and resells the clothing with profits going to schools. We will be collecting gently used clothing donations through September 20, 2016. Donations should be bagged and there will be collection boxes located in the lobby. Thank you for helping us participate in this new fundraiser.

Professional Learning Communities at Work!

Instructional Teams and Grade Levels meet every week in a Professional Learning Community. These teams of professionals deconstruct the standards, analyze student learning and plan instruction. This is a great opportunity for them to collaborate with one another as well as our support professionals. Shown above is our Kindergarten team collaborating with Mr. Ameigh, our Digital Learning and Teaching Facilitator.
